Makabre

MaKabre is a Leeds-based Techno producer and DJ driven by a deep-rooted love for dark, hypnotic and raw electronic music.

With his foundations firmly planted in the UK underground, MaKabre’s relationship with Techno was shaped by experiences at the legendary The Orbit in Morley during the 1990s — an influence that continues to run through his sound today. Years spent immersed in underground club culture, DJing and developing his craft have evolved into a distinctive production style built around heavy low-end, driving percussion, hypnotic grooves and dark, atmospheric textures as MaKabre, his music explores the darker side of techno: raw, immersive and uncompromising, with a strong focus on tension, movement and atmosphere. His tracks are designed for the dance floor, giving DJs the space to build pressure and energy while allowing the hypnotic elements to pull listeners deeper into the sound.
For MaKabre, Techno is about more than the kick drum. It is about atmosphere, emotion, identity and the ability of pure electronic sound to completely take over a room.

Dark. Raw. Hypnotic. Uncompromising.
